I really hope some of you around this area and in Nashville can make it out to see us. Would be great to see and meet some of you all. this is Les Perez's last gig with us(our drummer of the last 5 years) Don Poncher is officially our only drummer for the Lennon band. Les will still do Revolution as Ringo whenever they do Beatles' gigs, but no more gigs for Les as a member of Working Class Hero.
Thanks!!

Damn Don, I wish I would have known this sooner. Paducah is only about 3 hours or so from here I think. ( I wrote a song about Paducah Kentucky once, after I had the misfortune of landing there on my way hitch-hiking to Tampa. I was there 6 hours and was harrassed by many cops before I managed to catch a ride clear to Macon Ga.) We have plans already. I doubt if I can get out of them but I'm going to try like hell. :)

Sold out? That's great. I sure wish I could have been there Don.

Yeah, I didn't want to just come out and say it, but fuck Paducah.

I couldn't agree more...
I did run into our friend Mickey Dolenz at the bar in the Memphis airport! He was with John Schnieder. They'd been out doing some autograph show for big $$. He emailed a photo of Tim and I to his girlfriend (whom we've know for ages..).

Resistance is futile.

Seriously, Paducah is a backwards ass shithole. I hitchhiked through there and it took me 4 hours to get through it. Not one person stopped except for the cops, who saw fit to stop me 4 times and search my gear. They tried to intimidate me and threatened to throw me in jail and I DID NOTHING WRONG. I even wrote a song about it.

To hell with Paducah.

I was actually only at the airport there that used to be a drag strip. Flew there on a cross country leg to get my license.
They were making these aircraft when I was there.
I'm sorry you had a bad experience there. Not all Kentucky is so rude.
