Lennon Show Starting (Again)!

Postby Don Butler » Fri Jan 29, 2010 4:52 pm

We've moved into a new home. It's called the Platinum Theater. Hopefully we'll be there a while(as always.. depends on ticket sales). We had our kickoff last night and bob Eubanks and Jackie DeShannon were both in attendance. The place originally was called The Cinnamon Cinder and was owned by Bob Eubanks back in the early Sixties. The Beatles press conference before the played the Hollywood Bowl was held there in 1964. The Rolling Stones played there, The Yardbirds, etc., so it has a long history of rock`n roll acts performing there.
Hope some of you can make the show. check the website for info, address, etc.

THANKS!!

Awesome Don. If I was in Ca. I'd be there in a minute.

Good luck my friend. :)

Crowds have been good! Pat O'Brien came out last Sat. and dug the show. I forget what stupid gossip TV magazine he's on, but nice guy and plays guitar.

That's great Don!! Break a leg. Any chance of coming out east??? There are lots of off-Broadway theaters in NYC.

I've seen the Concert for George several times and noticed Mark Mann's playing. I've never heard of him however and cannot find any information on the internet or Wikipedia about him.
