$350 ~and you hit a home run.

Fully functional 1949 Gibson BR-9 lap steel. It has very
few relic spots , but overall in pretty clean , good shape,
for 50+ years old. The jack plate is metal. Other than that ,
it is all original. It has the (alnico mag) slugs vs adjustable poles.

It works & was checked out by Don Butler (stamp of approval)
& the control knobs do what they're supposed to.
It has Pyramid flatwound 13's, smooth like a baby's butt.

I have two 49's, so one has got to go. The sound? Crazy MOJO here!
Pick up: hot & as nasty as your fingers will take you.
Please PM if seriously interested in detailed pics..by Sunday
if it's still around.

It is going on a few other sites around the web...
24 hour approval given here no worries. I want a happy buyer.

shoot me any questions and ill do my best to get REAL PICS back soon.
thanks for looking, & have a great day.
Cheerios,
G

That is cool. I wish I was a decent lap steel player, I would buy it in a second. Unfortunately I stink. :(

I bought one of those Rogue Lap Steels a couple years ago for $80. It sounds just fine and a blast to slide around on.

I can even play along to Dark Side of the Moon... 8-)

I still can't play lap steel worth a darn. :( Good luck on the sale.
