Not mine but check out the body grain on this 5 string Rick bass. Pretty wild. I kinda like it. ;)

Do you think it's a real Ric???

Don't know too much about basses but the thought did cross my mind.Kinda why I used the word Bazaar in my post title. Every once in a while you see a Rick truss rod cover on Ebay. But this one doesn't have a Rick truss rod cover. But as many good home wood working hobbyist that are out making guitars, it would not surprise me if it were not a real Rick. I wonder if the seller would honestly answer if was or wasn't ?

Yeah it's real. Biscuit thinks it may be worth 3-4 K.

Who is Bisuit and why does he think a seriously modified Ric is worth that kind of money?

Sorry, I had the wrong Ric bass. There is a thread about it on the dark side though. And Biscuit is John Biscuti. He knows a lot about Ric basses. He's on BGC, RRF and the Ric forum. He's a good guy. Sent me a free G string from a set of chromes not too long ago.

Is John the guy who has the Youtube videos playing Yes music on a Ric?? If so, he's amazing.

I'm not sure. He is a very good player though. I think he leans towards jazz.

Then who is the guy from BGC who has all those videos of Yes songs?
