Propaganda is a soft weapon; hold it in your hands too long, and it will move about like a snake, and strike the other way.

That's a totally unrealistic price for a refinished 59 Les Paul with a broken/repaired headstock. J Geils is not Jimmy Page or Peter Frampton or even Slash.

I wasn't dissing Slash. It's just that he didn't use a Gibson Les Paul. His was a copy.

Definitely. The last time anyone heard from J. Geils was when Lois mentioned sleeping with them on the Family Guy episode where Peter and her run into Kiss in a Denny's.

I think that J is a little delusional. My old band used to open for the J Geils band quite a bit way back when.

J. Geils is just not that big of a celebrity. I am also familiar with the guys at Mr Music in Allston. I've been in that shop many times and it's a great music store. They carry a lot of historic guitars. I'm a bit surprised that they'd think that J's guitar is worth that kind of money. What would Jimmy Page's Les Paul sell for?

Jimmy Page's Les Paul would be pretty priceless.

So would Slash's actually. The guy who made it out Les Pauled Gibson on that one I think.
