Thinning the herd.
Circa 1976, with hsc.
$600 lower 48 only , DROPPED PRICE!
The neck pickup to die for! And the color is just fantastic! If you set both pups on, roll the neck pup full-on volume and full-on bass. Roll the bridge pup volume all the way off and roll the tone to about 1/3 -- gradually bring up the volume to taste and mix with the neck pup's full-on settings. It kicks ass live with that setting through an SWR or AMPEG. Bolt on. Low action. I miss it already. Lost my job, wife is sick. When it rains~ it pours. Good luck . PM if ya want it. Thank you.

That's my SWR. Been gigging with it for 15 years and has well over 1,000 four-hour shows on it. Changed out the speakers to Peavey Blue Marvels about five years ago. 4001s and 4003s and that amp simply go together. For larger shows or outdoors I couple it with an Ampeg 4X10 HLF and drop it down to 2 ohms and push 450 watts.

When I had the Matso bass in the pic, I had a bone nut custom made for it by a "real" luthier who builds custom guitars -- not just some guy in a guitar store. I believe the original nut is or was included in the case. Sure wish Ric could do a fireglo as pretty as the one on that bass. It was a fine player but I sold it to get my Monty Brown.

That particular photo was made in a little bar called "Glasses" that we used to play at regularly. Actually my avatar is me recently playing the monty through the SWR.

Greg has "one-upped" me on avatars.
The problem with the election was, Romney said, "I'll put the country back to work!", but 51% of the voters said, "Hell no!"

That's great Gregg. I hate to see people sell stuff they really don't want to sell.

Wow, I almost called you tonight Greg. Glad to see see you decided to keep it. Let me know if you change your mind in the future.

The best news is hearing your wife is doing better. I hope it continues that way! All my best to you both.

How's is that Royal Guardsman doing these days? ;)

I probably built and tested your SWR Redhead. I worked at SWR from `88 till mid `97.

Hi,I was wondering if, one day, the euro could replace the dollar as a main currency. What do you think about this issue?
