Coolest guitar hanger ever!

Postby Epidrake » Thu Jun 25, 2009 9:58 am

Hi guys,
My friend Ben invented this guitar hanger thingy. I think it's pretty cool! Even my wife likes it! :D
Three different looks including Fender, Ampeg and Tweed.

Cool. His description is interesting: "The Leck Customs Guitar Hanger is a copyrighted unique and decorative hanger..."

You can't copyright a hanger.

It is functional. The only way to protect it would be with a patent. I doubt his hanger is sufficiently inventive to warrant patent protection.

Pretty cool ...had the same type of thing, but the pad(doubling as a work of art) WAS BEHIND THE GUITAR ;) so it wouldnt swing & hit the wall.

If any of you guys want the VOX cloth, I will talk to him about making them. I'm sure he would do it for you.
I like the Ampeg SVT cloth too! That's the one he made with flecks of blue.

Hi everyone, we make a pretty cool guitar hanger and I could do with some feedback.

The website is here www.wiamusic.com

Image
They are made from water clear polycarbonate and are incredibly strong the snap lock system means the guitar can't fall out and will hang at any angle on walls and even the ceiling.
I would appreciate any advice you can give as we're a new company in early development. The hangers cause no stress to the neck, are really easy to install and are barely visible.
If you could take a look and let me know that would be great

Thanks!

Scott

Firstly, welcome to the forum, it's nice to have you here. :)

Secondly, I have to say that I am not a wall hanger guy, but if I was I would likely go for one of these "barely visible" types. It's pretty cool and looks like the guitar is just floating on the wall by itself.

Hi, Welcome to the forum. I LOVE your hanger! Good luck marketing it. Are you going to be at NAMM in California in January?

Hey Scott!
Interesting and Welcome to F & F ! :)
To b quite honest though many players probably won't touch it.Too much like art.Now if you were to make guitar stands with some new twist, that would be practical and needed.
Keep up the good designs.
